Installation of «DigiCert Global Root CA» on your machine

Here’s the English translation while maintaining the HTML structure:

• The main certification for portal.backup.ch has been changed. Instead of the certificate from «Go Daddy Root Certificate Authority – G2», the certificate from «DigiCert Global Root CA» and «DigiCert Global G2» is now being used. This change took place on October 9, 2023.

Instructions

1. Download the certificate «DigiCert Global Root CA» using the following link: https://cacerts.digicert.com/DigiCertGlobalRootCA.crt

2. Open the certificate with a «double-click» and select «Install Certificate».

3. Select «Local Computer» as the storage location.

4. First select «Place all certificates in the following store» and then click «Browse…»

5. Use the «Trusted Root Certification Authorities» to store the certificate in the correct location and confirm with «OK».

6. Confirm again by clicking «Next»

7. Complete the process by clicking «Finish».

8. Use the «Connection Verification Tools« to verify the connection.
