Informatio GmbH, known as an expert for Dell EMC Storage solutions since the early 2000s, has also been part of Backup ONE AG since 2020 and was fully acquired including all employees.
In IT infrastructure management, there are numerous tasks that individually don’t take much time. Often, these management tasks are rarely performed due to other urgent duties, and the lack of experience poses an increased risk for the operation of the environment. These rarely performed but critical activities are one of the core competencies of Informatio and now also Backup ONE. These activities are carried out for our clients with full responsibility and integration into operational processes. Through conscientious execution of short routine tasks, we create the economies of scale and experience upon which our success is built.

Started with a vision that continues to this day: Data Protection Excellence.
The management team consists of experienced Swiss cloud and storage entrepreneurs. As a privately funded company, we at Backup ONE AG are committed solely to the security of our customer data and our high quality standards. Four entrepreneurs, united by the vision of highly secure and 100% Swiss cloud backup, laid the foundation for Backup ONE in 2015, which initially started operations as a GmbH (LLC). In 2017, Backup ONE was converted into an Aktiengesellschaft (AG/Inc.) and moved its offices to the center of Bern in 2018. The management team alone accumulates over 50 years of cloud and storage experience.
