Set up first backup

A backup plan is a set of policies for protecting given data on a given machine.

A backup plan can be applied to multiple machines at the time of its creation (or later).

How to apply a backup plan to machines

  1. Select machines that you want to back up.
  2. Click Backup. If a general backup plan has already been applied to the selected machines, click Add Backup Plan.
    The software will then display previously created backup plans (if available) or a new backup plan template.
  3. [Optional] Click the arrow next to the backup plan name if you want to select a different plan or create a new backup plan.

  4. [New Backup Plan]
  5. [Optional] If you want to change the plan parameters, click on the corresponding backup plan pane.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Give the new backup plan a name or confirm the changes to the existing backup plan (if applicable).
