Collecting system information on the machine

Why a system information report is necessary when the agent or affected machine exhibits unusual behavior.
A «System Information Report» is crucial for investigating unexplained agent behaviors. This report provides the support team with insights into specific challenges on the agent’s machine. Creating the report collects all relevant logs to analyze unusual behavior and initiate appropriate measures if necessary.

- Open the Protection Console.
- Select the machine for which you need the report.
- Click on «Activities«.
- Click on «Collect System Information«.
- Select the type of system information log you want to collect from the «popup menu«:
- Optimized: A lightweight system report containing the latest logs for the selected time period, with the default period being three days.
- Complete: A full system report for the selected time period, ranging from one day to all available logs. More detailed than an optimized report but may take longer to collect.
- Collecting the system report may take some time depending on the log size.
- Once the report is collected, save it and make it available to the support team.
→ Settings:
- Open the Protection Console.
- Navigate to «Settings» > «Agents«.
- Click on the machine for which you need the report, then click «Details«.
- Click on «Collect System Information«.
- Select the type of system information log you want to collect from the «popup menu«:
- Optimized: A lightweight system report containing the latest logs for the selected time period, with the default period being three days.
- Complete: A full system report for the selected time period, ranging from one day to all available logs. More detailed than an optimized report but may take longer to collect.

- Open File Explorer and navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\AdvReport\systeminfo.exe
- Run the Systeminfo utility as administrator.
- The report named «Systeminfo_Date-and-Time.zip» will be saved in the directory «C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\AdvReport«.
→ Without installed agent:
- Download the appropriate «SystemInfo Utility» for 64-bit or 32-bit Windows:
- Run the downloaded file to start the «Systeminfo Utility».
- Start the «Systeminfo Utility» as administrator.
- The report named «Systeminfo_build_DATE-Time.zip» will be saved in the execution directory «..\Systeminfo_build_DATE-Time.zip«.
