VMWare Backup with Virtual Appliance

Create VMWare Backup easily with the new virtual appliance for VMWare.

With the virtual appliance for VMWare ESXi, you can back up all your virtual machines without having to install an agent on them. The virtual appliance can be operated directly on an ESXi host and is available as an .ovf template. The appliance is based on a minified Linux and is just under 400 MB in size.

As a customer, you can download and install the virtual appliance directly through the portal (https://www.backup.ch/login). Please note that this feature is only available with server backup packages.
