Recently, we proudly received our ISO 9001 certificate, and now we've achieved another certification - this time in the form of CyberSeal. The CyberSeal can be applied for by IT service providers with customers in Switzerland who assume full or partial responsibility for IT setup and operations and/or configure and provide cloud solutions.
The certificate is issued by the Digital Security Alliance Switzerland to companies that ensure appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect SMEs from cyber risks. Since September 2020, it has also been an integral part of the implementation plan of the "National Strategy for the Protection of Switzerland against Cyber Risks NCS 2.0".
As an IT service provider, we are aware of the importance of our cyber resilience for our customers and have set ourselves the goal of maintaining it at the highest possible level through modern standards and latest technologies. The certification therefore focuses on verifying the following fundamental competencies of the IT service provider:
To ensure and maintain quality, IT service providers are regularly audited during a three-year audit cycle. In the first year, a comprehensive CyberSeal audit is conducted. In the second and third years, maintenance audits are performed for quality control. The process concludes in the fourth year with another comprehensive audit before the cycle starts anew.
From the customer's perspective, the independent quality seal simplifies the selection of the right IT service provider and creates the following added value:
With the CyberSeal certificate, we want to further strengthen trust in us as an IT service provider and partner, emphasizing that the security of your data and your satisfaction as a customer of Backup ONE is a matter close to our hearts.
