1. To back up your Synology NAS, you need «Hyper Backup«. You can easily install the application in the Package Center.

2. After opening «Hyper Backup«, you have the option to select S3 storage by scrolling down.

3. For S3 server, select «Custom server URL«.

4. Now enter your S3 account information that you received from us.
Notes on server addresses:
• General URL: ch.s3cloud.ch:443 (Also works for Single Site accounts)
• Direct URL CH-EAST: ch-east.s3cloud.ch:443

5. You can now select the existing bucket.
Note: Depending on the S3 account permissions, new buckets can be created.
6. Select the desired directories and subfolders that you want to back up.

7. You also have the option to back up applications from your Synology NAS.

8. Additionally, detailed backup settings can be configured, such as the execution schedule, client-side encryption, and rotation settings.

• Once you have configured the settings, the first backup can be performed.
• Please note that this process may take some time depending on the amount of data.
